We make all our own coasters here on the farm. The photographs used for these coasters are by award winning photographer Janice Hazeldine. They make wonderful and unusual gifts ideal for those hard to buy for people who have everything.
We create our own coasters individually using a special printer paper and dye sublimation inks. Sublimation ink is unique in its
ability to convert from a solid to a gas without going through a liquid form. (Just like dry ice.) The conversion is initiated by using heat and pressure in a special heat press where the inks transfer from the paper and fuse with the polyester fabric on the top of the mouse pad forming a new molecular structure which basically bonds the color dyes to the fabric making them very very permanent.
