Floral encounters produces only high quality organic catnip. We use no pesticides
at all ever on our catnip or any other plant grown on our farm. All our catnip
is harvested by hand in late stage
1 and stage 2 ensuring that you have the best possible product with the
highest concentrations of active compounds. We also process by hand to remove
any unwanted material and thoroughly wash all our leaves before they are dehydrated
and stored in sealed containers until we package them for you. We use the same
premium catnip in all our products we never use inferior material. That goes
to the compost heap.
Very few if any other catnip suppliers do this and almost none wash their catnip.

Organic Whole Leaf Catnip
Our whole leaf catnip is produced from leaves harvested in late stage 1 and
stage 2. The leaves are then stripped from the stems, washed thoroughly to remove
any unwanted material and dehydrated using cool air the dark to ensure the maximum
amount of active compounds are retained. Whole leaf ensures that the active
compounds are locked into the leaf until you or your cat crushes them. This
will then release them at the best possible moment. Whole leaf catnip is packaged
in sturdy plastic containers to ensure that the leaves do not get crushed accidently.
Material is very light and fluffy so as not to crush the leaves.

Organic Partial Leaf Catnip
Partial leaf means semi whole. Leaves are broken up but not crushed into powder.
It's still possible to identify leaves. This retains a large amount of the compounds
but not as much as whole leaf. Many people prefer this as we can pack more material
into a container than in whole leaf and not as much care is needed buy the consumer
to keep the leaves whole once it is received. We use the same premium catnip

Organic Catnip Flowering Tops
The flowering tops and buds of peak catnip bloom. When the catnip is in full bloom the tops of each branch are harvested and dried providing the maximum amount of flower possible. We use only the tops of the branches not the whole branch this reduces the amount of stem in the product. Packaged in rigid plastic containers ensures that the catnip is not crushed until the time of your choosing.

Organic Catnip Morsels
It's concentrated catnip! We take the finest organic leaf catnip from our fields and using our proprietary process concentrate it and the important oils down into small morsels. Each morsel contains roughly 0.06 oz or 1.7gms of fresh catnip leaf. That does not sound like a lot but our photographs show exactly how much fresh catnip makes up one morsel and how much fresh catnip is in a whole can.
