These plants have been specifically selected for their high nectar and pollen production. These plants once mature can feed a large number of insects, especially butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. This gives them the energy to increase their numbers while offering the grower the enjoyment of watching the pretty butterflies and flower. If planted together in one section of the garden they can be enjoyed all year then mown down once in early spring ready for the new season. No other work is necessary, providing less work, less emissions from the mower and more time to enjoy.
